A Night to Shine: Celebrating the Incredible Kids of CTC Through Art
Get ready for a night dedicated to the real stars of the show—the amazing children of the Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent (CTC)!
This special evening is all about celebrating individuality, creativity, and the incredible spirit of each child. Through art, we’ll get a glimpse into their unique talents, styles, and personalities, with every piece telling a story only they can tell.
The goal of the show? Simple—to uplift and showcase these remarkable kids in a space where their light can truly shine.
The more people who attend, the more meaningful and memorable this night becomes for them. So we’re calling on our amazing community to come out, show your support, and help make this evening unforgettable.
Let’s come together to cheer them on, celebrate their art, and remind them just how valued and seen they really are.

Mitch has been a valued member of the Handy Bros. team for over 9 years. He began his journey in the installation department, quickly rising through the ranks into management, where he successfully led multiple departments. In 2018, Mitch and his brother Nic took ownership of Handy Bros., continuing the legacy with a fresh vision—Home Comfort Done Differently. Mitch is happily married to his beautiful wife, Jessica, and is a proud, devoted father. Outside of work, he’s passionate about health and fitness, and has a deep appreciation for delicious Portuguese cuisine. When it comes to travel, anywhere in Southern Europe is his happy place.
A couple weeks ago, we had the absolute joy of being the “Mystery Reader” for a group of bright and curious kindergarteners! We read them a fun story, shared a bit about what we do here at Handy Bros., and answered all of their awesome questions.
There’s something so special about seeing the wonder in young minds and hearing how they think—so full of curiosity and imagination. We’re grateful for opportunities like this to connect with the next generation!

Why is customer service so terrible these days?
You’re the one paying for a service, but somehow you end up doing all the chasing. You have to keep reminding companies to send a quote, carve out hours of your day for huge time windows, and half the time—they don’t even show up on time… or at all.
Then they leave, and you’re left cleaning up after them, just hoping the job was done right.
