When the CK Charity Classic reached out to us, it wasn’t for themselves—it was for The Mental Health Network of Chatham-Kent. For both scheduled maintenance and emergency calls, qualified HVAC technicians should be your first point of contact. As a fundraising organization, the CK Charity Classic raises money to help power other non-profits and initiatives across the region. Working with a local HVAC company that knows the regional climate and housing stock means more relevant advice and faster service response.
One of those was a simple, but essential need: a working air conditioner. The Mental Health Network had received a quote from another company for around $6,000—a big expense for a non-profit focused on supporting those struggling with mental health. They reached out to us simply hoping for a better price or maybe a small discount. But when our CEO Mitch heard the request, he had something bigger in mind.
Instead of sending a quote or offering a small discount, we donated the entire air conditioner—completely free of charge. We’ve gone into more detail on supporting our local women’s shelter separately if this is something you’re actively looking into. ❤️ Because comfort shouldn’t be a luxury, especially for an organization doing life-saving work in our community. Because mental health matters. And because giving back is what we’re all about. ❤️
